ABTPA Grant Resources
The Auto Burglary and Theft Prevention Authority (ABTPA) awards financial grants to agencies, organizations, and concerned parties in an effort to raise public awareness of vehicle theft and burglary and implement education and prevention initiatives.
On May 18, 2016, the ABTPA Board awarded grants for Fiscal Year 2017 programs designed to reduce the incidence of motor vehicle burglary and theft. This period includes, September 1, 2016 through August 31, 2017.
The ABTPA authorized the issuance of the Fiscal Years 2018 and 2019 Request for Applications at its regularly scheduled board meeting held on January 18, 2017. This RFA was posted to the Texas Register on March 24, 2017
The Automobile Burglary and Theft Prevention Authority (ABTPA) oversees the impact of auto theft in Texas and provides financial support to fight it.
